When I got home I quickly changed the password to the new format as its way easier to deal with if I ever run into this situation again. I actually ran into a situation today where I had the old 20 characters long random gibberish password they used to auto-generate and had to manually type it in and it was so annoying. The difference is that Logins are full profiles for logging into accounts, while Passwords are orphaned passwords that the service has created for you. In 1Password (and some other managers), you'll notice separate categories for Logins and Passwords. Otherwise, it pays off to categorize notes and other info properly. You should only use generic notes if the data doesn't fit into any of those. Most password managers let you pick a category of data, such as Credit Card or Wireless Router, to add the relevant fields. If you scratched down a password in a note, convert that to a proper login item. For this step, look at all the notes in your password manager and make sure they're set up properly.
